Aam Bangali across the globe is eagerly waiting for a fresh start and welcoming ‘Noboborsho’. While a few are looking forward to a ‘Boishakhi adda’ with friends, many people have decided to celebrate the occasion indoors owing to the pandemic and Bengali TV offers them a platter of entertainment.
Popular television channels have decided to spice up the entertainment quotient of the audience with their offerings. From Noboborsho special shows, films, special episodes of non-fiction shows, the viewers have a mixed platter of entertainment this ‘Noboborsho’.

Mithai
, starring Soumitrisha Kundu and
Adrit Roy as the lead pair, is gearing up for a spectacular episode. Protagonists from other TV shows will make a special appearance in this two-hour-long special episode.
According to the story, Mithai has to deliver order but the employees of their sweet shop left the work unfinished. Mithai decides to pitch in and seeks help from the protagonists of other TV shows. Rimli (played by Idhika Paul), Uday (played by John Bhattacharya), Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay’s Radhika (
Swastika Dutta), Karna (Krushal Ahuja), Kori Khela’s Pari (Sriparna Roy) and Apurba (Ananda Ghosh) will visit Modak household to help Mithai. Urmi aka Annwesha Hazra from the recently launched show ‘Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy’ will also visit Mithai’s place. There will be song, dance, fun-galore and much more. Modak family celebrates

On the other hand,
Rachna Banerjee hosted ‘Didi No. 1’ and Sudipa Chatterjee’s ‘Rannaghar’ will also air special episodes. Both the shows will welcome some special guests.
On the other hand, the rival channel is also gearing up with its offerings. It will air an hour-long special episode ‘Noboborshey Mahamilon’. It will feature lead characters of popular shows 'Gangaram' and 'Khelaghor'.
To spice up the entertainment quotient, there will be films, too. A popular channel will air
Prosenjit Chatterjee starrer movie ‘Shiva’. Besides this, ‘Mejo Bou’, ‘Sejo Bou’ and ‘Choto Bou’ will be aired back to back.
