'Gramer Rani Binapani' to end its journey soon

Bengali TV show ‘Gramer Rani Binapani’, starring Honey Bafna and Annmary Tom as the lead pair, is going to end its journey soon. While the climax episode is yet to be aired, the team recently wrapped up their shoot. It was an emotional moment for the cast and crew as they attended the last day’s shoot.
‘Gramer Rani Binapani’ started its journey with a simple story that revolves around two individuals who are poles apart.Shatadru, a successful businessman, is a careerist and can do anything for success. Binapani, on the other hand, is an internet sensation, who is always ahead to help her villagers. She is full of courage and leads a protest against Shatadru’s company that runs a mill situated in Binapani’s village. Shatadru comes up with a plan and appoints Binapani to a higher position to douse the protest but deep inside, he has some other plans. Shatadru-Binapani’s story takes a different turn when the duo gets married.
The TV show, which started its journey last year in March, has an ensemble cast that includes Maitreyee Mitra, Rajiv Bose, Elfina Mukherjee, Sourav Banerjee, Anirban Ghosh, and many others. The show had set high hopes with an interesting lead pair and crisp narration. However, ‘Gramer Rani Binapani’ couldn’t show its wonder in terms of TRPs. The makers kept adding back-to-back twists and in fact, recently underwent a time leap to sustain viewership, too. Following this, a number of changes have been featured in the storyline and the show introduced new characters as well. Binapani and Shatadru are now parents. They have two daughters Ridhima (Moupiya Goswami) and Sahana (Nisha Podder). The current story is progressing with Riddhima and Sahana who always compete with each other. The current track is yet to leave a mark on TRP charts.
