Television serial ‘Pilu’ starring
Gourab Roy Chowdhury and
Megha Daw in the lead roles, is set to launch next week. The team will soon appear on ‘Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9’, hosted by
Sourav Ganguly. The episode, which will be aired this weekend, was shot long back. Host Sourav Ganguly is currently at home isolation after testing positive for
COVID. He was earlier in hospital and got discharged on December 31 after his condition improved and his
Omicron test result declared negative. Sourav’s health condition is stable and gradually improving.
This weekend, Gourab Roy Chowdhury,
Megha Daw along with other artists will feature in ‘Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9’. It was a dream come true moment for both Gourab and Megha to meet Sourav and play the game with him. They openly shared their admiration for the legendary cricketer who is currently the President of BCCI. Sourav asked the actors about their work experience. Team ‘Pilu’ candidly shared their experience of shooting in some breathtakingly beautiful locations of Purulia.
Actor Gourab will essay the role of a renowned singer while Megha, the finalist of ‘Dance Bangla Dance Season 11’, will play a village belle in the soon-to-be-launched TV show. Music runs in Pilu’s (played by Megha) genes. Her grandfather makes instruments. Gourab, who also has films to his credit, was last seen in ‘Ogo Nirupoma’ prior to this.
