Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Shruti Das team up for new show 'Ranga Bou'

Actors Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Shruti Das, who managed to cast a spell as Dripta-Nayan in TV show ‘Trinayani’, are back! The duo will share the screen yet again in upcoming daily soap ‘Ranga Bou’. It has an interesting storyline which will feature Gourab in a brand new avatar. The handsome hunk, who is mostly seen playing the role of a successful entrepreneur, played a talented singer’s role in his last TV show ‘Pilu’.But ‘Ranga Bou’ will feature him in a completely different shade. The actor has been prepping up for the new role he would be playing in the show and putting effort to come out of Ahir’s shades. His reel character Ahir in Megha Daw starrer ‘Pilu’ was quite popular among the audience.
Since past two-three weeks rumours were rife that Shruti and Gourab would pair up again. While the makers were tight-lipped the artists maintained a silence too.
‘Ranga Bou’ is being produced by Swarnendu Samaddar’s house. Swarnendu, who is dating Shruti, had also directed ‘Trinayani’.
Fans are eager to see their favourite pair together who shared a crackling chemistry in ‘Trinayani’ which marked the debut of Shruti. The success of the show prompted the makers to launch it in different regional languages including in Odia, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil and Punjabi. It has also been dubbed in Bhojpuri.
Shruti will be seen in a TV show after a brief break. 'Desher Maati' was her last television serial.
