‘Ghare and Baire’ is set for its TV premiere

’ will have its television premiere this weekend.

The storyline of the film revolves around two crazy friends Amit (Jisshu) and Labanya (Koel). Although the title of the film might remind you of Satyajit Ray’s ‘Ghare Baire’, the latest Bengali film has no resemblance with the classic movie whatsoever. In fact ‘Ghare and Baire’ is a beautiful journey of a boy and girl bonding over music.

The film is directed by Mainak Bhaumik. Mainak has already directed a number of Bengali films including ‘Bedroom’, ‘Maach Mishti & More’, ‘Aami Aar Amar Girlfriends’ and ‘Bibaho Diaries’. Singer and music composer Anupam Roy has scored three songs for this Bengali flick.The on-screen chemistry between Jisshu and Koel is loved by the audiences.

The actress, who made her debut with the film ‘Nater Guru’, alongside popular Bengali film actor Jeet, is currently busy with her big screen projects. Jisshu is successfully managing his films as well as television projects. His recently released film ‘Uma’, directed by Srijit Mukherji, has already won accolades for its screenplay and strong casting.
