From ‘Sreemoyee’ to ‘Kopalkundala’: Bengali TV shoots are on full swing amid corona scare

Bengali television audience, who are missing the daily updates from Sreemoyee and Joba’s life, will soon be able to know how they are. From Sreemoyee’s growing closeness with Rohit Sen to Kopalkundala’s struggling life, there is enough dose of entertainment to spice up TV viewing because shoots of serials are on full swing. Artists and crew members armed with hand sanitizer, face shield, mask, gloves and all other necessary precautions are working hard to entertain the audience. Sreemoyee is back!

Housewife Sreemoyee took away the hearts of Bengali audience, especially female ones, who could easily associate themselves the protagonist and her continuous struggle. Indrani Halder’s performance as protagonist Sreemoyee is one of the key reason behind the show’s success. Ever since the shoots were on halt, viewers were missing Sreemoyee. Memes on the TV show featuring Sreemoyee, her mom-in-law and June auntie took the internet by storm. But the wait is over Sreemoyee aka Indrani is back on the shooting floor. ​When Sreemoyee meets Rohit Sen

Bengali television viewers can’t get enough of Sreemoyee and her long lost senior from college Rohit Sen. Tota Roy Choudhury’s entry as Rohit Sen has added a new edge in the storyline. Indrani and Tota look good as an on-screen pair. No wonder, the show dominated the TRP charts when Rohit made entry into the show. ​Social distancing

Earlier, Sreemoyee’s estranged husband Anindya was hospitalised after suddenly falling ill. The team recently shot a sequence in which Sreemoyee, Rohit and Dinka (played by Saptarshi Moulik), visit the hospital. Look at Indrani and Saptarshi maintaining social distancing norms while the make-up artist is helping Tota to look perfect.

Popular family drama ‘Ke Apon Ke Por’ will soon air fresh episodes. Right before the lockdown, the storyline was progressing with Koel’s (Simran Upadhyay) scheduled wedding.
