From Koneekica Banerjee to Rooqma Ray – Tele celebs turn up to demand justice over RG Kar rape-murder incident

Bengal is refusing to dial down on its demand for justice over the RG Kar rape-murder case. The film fraternity of Tollygunge put together a demonstration a week back, to protest against the atrocities towards women and demand justice for the victim of RG Kar rape-murder incident and her family. A week from that protest rally, Bengali television artists and technicians came together to march on the streets of Kolkata with the same demands. Take a look.

​Koneenica Banerjee, an actress who has worked across all platforms, walked in the protest rally on Sunday evening and conveyed an important message. Koneenica, being a mother to daughter, urged the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee to take all the required steps to ensure women’s safety and demanded justice for the victim and her family.
