Filmmaker Srijit Mikherji to feature in ‘Teleplex’ soon

Film director Srijit Mukherji will soon be seen on the television. According to the industry sources, a new television show titled, 'Teleplex' will be launched by a leading Bengali general entertainment channel. In ‘Teleplex’, the viewers will get to watch telefilms and Srijit will play the role of a ‘Sutradhar’ in this show.
The talented film director, who has made films like, ‘Autograph’, 'Baishe Srabon', ‘Hemlock Society’, and ‘Jaatishwar’, is excited about his new project.
The show will be launched next month.
Many shows have been launched by the popular general entertainment channel to give rival channels a stiff competition. The channel is trying to get the viewers hooked with the launch of shows like ‘Arabya Rajani’ and ‘Khonar Bachan’.
In the fantasy-drama ‘Arabya Rajani’, Gourab Mondal and Jasmine Roy are playing the lead roles. The serial ‘Khonar Bochon’ too gained popularity right after its recent launch. Actress Oindrila is seen playing the character Khona. She was previously seen in the period drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’, which has Ditipriya Roy and Gazi Abdun Noor as lead actors.
