Actor
Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh shares his
Eid plans with us. He says, "Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations have been very low-key since last year. This year, the situation is far more serious. My parents, my brother and I just recovered from
COVID19 and are in no mood to celebrate lavishly. Since we are under a partial lockdown, catching up with relatives will be a virtual affair. I will start the day by offering Eid namaz along with my father and brother. As part of Eid festivities this year, I have decided to distrtibut zakat and also donate towards essential items like masks, sanitisers, food and clothes. Eid spread at home will include
biryani
, kebab, lachha sewai and a few
Mughlai
dishes. On this auspicious day, all I pray for is the dark phase to be over soon. I want to wholeheartedly request everyone to come forward and stand by those in need. Extend a helping hand and contribute in whatever way you can so we can fight the deadly
pandemic
together."
