Popular Bengali television show ‘Tumpa Autowali’, the remake of hit Kannada soap opera ‘Mithuna Raashi’, has kept the audience hooked to the television screen with its share of drama backed with frequent twists. The Bengali version of the show is now ready for a new tweak in the story.
A time leap
Following the most popular formula in the world of daily soaps, ‘Tumpa Autowali’ is set to take a time leap of 5 years. In the meantime, a lot of changes have already taken place in protagonists Tumpa and Abir’s lives.
In the recent episodes, viewers have seen how protagonist Tumpa, who initially dedicates herself to her MBA studies, faces a series of dramatic events. To surprise her, the family members plan a beautiful baby shower. But because of antagonist Tumpa, the celebratory mood gets spoiled. She leaves no stone unturned to make sure mom-to-be Tumpa has a hard time. That’s not all, husband Abir’s absence from the ceremony casts a shadow over the celebration. Pompa, who isn’t ready to back down, attempts to masquerade as a changed person. But her attempt to sway Tumpa, miserably fails this time.
As a next big twist, viewers will now see Tumpa as a mom. She tries to balance her personal and professional life; after all, Tumpa has a beautiful daughter around whom her world revolves. Along with this, the show will feature many surprises; right from new tweaks in the story to welcoming new characters.
Tumpa Autowali
The daily soap, featuring actress Dona Bhowmik as protagonist Tumpa started its journey on Bengali television last year in May. Thanks to a realistic touch in the storyline and a strong cast, ‘Tumpa Autowali’. Actor Sayan Bose made debut with the show. He plays Abir’s character while Sairity Banerjee essays Pompa’s role. Senior artist Dolon Roy, on the other hand, plays Abir’s mother in the show.
