Sona and
Rupa (played by child artists Mishita Roy Chowdhury and Sristi Majumdar respectively), are the show stealers. The child artists have eventually become the key attraction of the soap opera that’s known for its high-octane drama.
Interestingly, ‘Anurager Chhowa’ is not an original Bengali show but the remake of hit Malayalam soap opera ‘Karuthamuthu’, which has been an instant hit. The Malayalam television serial has been remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali and Hindi as well.
