Actress Debaparna Paul Chowdhury is all set to entertain the audience in a brand new avatar. The Bengali beauty has been roped in by the makers of upcoming show ‘Meyebela’, to play a prominent role. She will play Chandni’s character in the show which will feature actress and politician
Roopa Ganguly in the lead role. Debaparna has not been seen in any show for quite some time besides making occasional appearances on non-fiction shows like Rachna Banerjee-hosted game show ‘Didi No.
1’.
The actress, who got hitched in 2020, stepped into the showbiz at a young age and has been a part of many popular daily soaps including Madhumita Sarcar-Yash Dasgupta starrer ‘Bojhe Na Se Bojhe Na’, ‘Bhanumotir Khel’ (featuring Rubel Das, Shreyashri Roy as the lead pair), Rezwan Rabbani Sheikh and
Sandipta Sen’s ‘Pratidaan’, Gourab Roy Chowdhury-Shruti Das starrer ‘Trinayani’ among others. She is all excited to shoot for her new project which will narrate a female-centric story.

The actress, who received National Award of the best playback singer (female) for the movie ‘Obosheshey’, and several other prestigious awards for her performances in movies like ‘Antarmahal’, ‘Krantikaal’, ‘Ujan’ and others, will be seen in an entertainment project after quite some time. She has been busy with her political commitments. ‘Meyebela’ will feature Roopa playing the role of a housewife who dedicated her life for the well-being of her family. ‘Khelaghor’ fame Swikriti Majumder will play her daughter-in-law in the show while Arpan Ghoshal will essay the male lead.
