Judges Dev, Rukmini Maitra and Monami Ghosh were mesmerised by the special performances. The young participants, with their dance performances, took them on a magical ride.
Fairy tales, fantasy, and magic, are something, that not only added visual brilliance to the episodes but also took the judges back to their childhood.
Young contestant Anand performed to the popular song ‘Naach Meri Jaan’, while Sristi performed to Kareena Kapoor’s ‘San Sanana’ from the movie Ashoka. Participant Swarup performed to the song ‘Malhari’ and contestant Deep performed to ‘Prithibita Naki Choto Hotehote’. Anubrata, who has already mesmerised the judges with his belly dancing skills, chose to perform on ‘Binte Dil’. Well, there will be much more to look forward to in these wonderland-themed special episodes.
The set, costume, and dance performances will remind the audiences of hit Hollywood movies ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, ‘Avatar’ and much more. Not only the participants but also the choreographers who conceptualised the dance based on the given theme, the costume and set designers earned praises from the judges.
With such visually enriched and entertaining episodes in store, it will be interesting to see how ‘Dance Dance Junior’ fares on the TRP charts and whether it beats ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ which is aired by the rival channel.
