Dance Dance Junior Season 3: Dev-Rukmini Maitra starrer reality show to launch in August

Bengali television is ready to welcome a dance reality show which will be a star-studded gala affair. The brand new season of ‘Dance Dance Junior’ will start its journey on Bengali television on August 6. The makers have quite a few surprises in store for the audience. Alongside film star Dev and actress Monami Ghosh, the upcoming reality show will also feature actress Rukmini Maitra.This is the very first time Rukmini will appear on a reality show as a celebrity judge. Prior to this, Rukmini was seen making occasional special appearances on non-fiction shows. No doubt, Bengali audiences are in for a double treat to watch Dev and his lady love Rukmini together on the small screen.
Interestingly, makers are tight-lipped about veteran artist Mithun Chakraborty, who was likely to be a part of the show as well. The senior artist, who is addressed by contestants as Mahaguru, has been a part of the previous seasons of the series earlier.
The third edition of the reality show will have three celebrity mentors. Trina Saha, Abhishek Bose, and ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’ fame Dipanwita Rakshit will join the show as the mentors. Young artists Laddoo aka Soumyadipta Saha and Udita will continue to host this season as well. That's not all, Rohaan Bhattacharya will also be a part of the show.
‘Dance Dance Junior Season 3’ will welcome young dance enthusiasts as the participants. The makers held auditions in different cities which witnessed a massive turn out. Meanwhile, a rival Bengali TV channel has launched its hit music reality series ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ recently. It will be interesting to see which show manages to enjoy an edge in terms of TRPs in the future.
