Crisscross all set for its World Television Premiere

The Bengali film, Crisscross, directed by Birsha Dasgupta, is ready for its World Television Premiere. The film has strong star cast which includes Nusrat Jahan, Mimi Chakraborty, Jaya Ahsan, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, Riddhima Ghosh Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty, Gaurav Chakraborty, Mainak Banerjee and Indrasish Roy.
The story of the film is based on a novel by popular writer Smaranjit Chakraborty.The film was well appreciated for depicting the women of 21st century, their issues, dilemmas, strength and ability to fight back. Keeping International Women’s Day in mind, the channel is all set to premiere the movie on television.
The film, which revolves around the lives of five different women, will be aired on March 10.
This weekend is going to be a power-packed one, as the television channels are gearing up with many interesting shows to woo the viewers. The general entertainment channel airing ‘Crisscross’ will also air a special episode of ‘Thakumar Jhuli’ and this week’s story is ‘Patalkanya Manimala’. Actress Swastika Dutta and Mainak Banerjee are playing the leads. On the other hand, ‘Ebar Jombe Moja’ is also ready with entertaining content. While the channel wants to hook both adults and kids with their different shows, its rival channel is gearing up with shows like ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ and ‘Didi No. 1’ to entertain the viewers.
