Cookery show ‘Rannabanna’ to premiere on March 16

The new cookery show ‘Rannabanna’ is all set to hit the television screen on March 16. Making a dull day quite spicier, the cookery show will feature lip-smacking recipes. ‘Rannabanna’ will feature veteran actress Tanima Sen and young actor Raktim Samanta. The duo will be seen as grandmother and grandson. ‘Gopal Bhar’ fame Raktim will be seen in his most entertaining avatar. He is a diehard foodie and always eager to satisfy his taste buds.While his on-screen granny Tanima is a culinary expert, she is always there to give Raktim a satisfactory gastronomical experience.The format of this cookery show seems to be quite interesting.Along with ‘Rannabanna’, another show is gearing up for its launch. Film actress Srabanti Chatterjee hosted fun-game show ‘Superstar Poribar’ will be launched on March 15.The game show also has an interesting format. Team ‘Shoshurbari’ (in-laws) and Team ‘Baper Bari’ will lock horns to play funny games with host Srabanti.Daily soap ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ based on the life of female medical practitioner Dr. Kadambini Ganguly will also go on-air shortly. Actress Solanki Roy will play the titular role in it.Another rival Bengali television channel is also gearing up with the same story. The channel has tilted its upcoming show as ‘Kadambini’. Actress Ushasi Ray will play the lead in this upcoming show.
