Child actor Raktim Samanta to be seen as Gojoraj in the serial, Beder Meye Jyotsna
Popular fantasy folklore Beder Meye Jyotsna’s storyline is taking a new turn by introducing Gojoraj, played by the noted child artiste Raktim Samanta. Gojoraj is the king of elephants and is sent by the reigning Goddess of the jungle Bonobibi to protect the king of Bijoy Nagar. Gojoraj has superhuman powers that help him control the elephants and also see the future.
He loves to eat especially laddoos. Beder Meye Jyotsna is an eternal love story between Prince Kanchan and snake charmer’s daughter Jyotsna. Actor Ravi Shaw and Sneha Das have been essaying these iconic characters respectively. Raktim is a popular face in the Bengali telly industry. He was earlier seen in a few daily soaps but his claim to fame was as a child anchor in a Bengali dance reality show. Ravi Shaw, who is the male lead in the serial, Rajkumar Kanchan, was earlier seen as Krish in the daily soap, Radha. Actresses Tumpa Paul and Monalisa Paul are seen in negative roles in the serial.
