Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamurthy to judge ‘Super Singer’

Kavita Krishnamurthy, one of the most versatile singers in India, is all set to take the Bengali audience to a melodious journey soon. She will be seen as the judge of a Bengali reality show. The renowned singer, who has done playback in 16 regional languages including Hindi, Bangla, Odiya, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and others, will be seen gracing the judges’ panel along with Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu and singer-music director Jeet Ganguli.
The singer has a deep connection with Bengal. She started her musical journey and took talim in Rabindra Sangeet on the insistence of her aunt. The singer, who is known for her excel in Indian Classical Music, can speak Bengali fluently.
Kavita, who has done playback for many Bengali films, is thrilled to be a part of Bengali television.
After the successful season journey of ‘Super Singer Junior’, the show is making a grand comeback. This time, it will provide a stage for the adults to showcase their musical talent. Popular actor Jisshu Sengupta will be seen hosting the soon-to-be-launched show. Interesting, singer Koushiki Chakraborty was a part of ‘Super Singer Junior’ as a judge.
