Television actress Anjana Basu has turned a year older. The Bengali film and television actress, who is known for her powerful acting skills, celebrated the day with her co-stars. Anjana is presently playing the character Subarna in ‘Bijoyini’. The team ordered a beautiful cake for her. The entire crew and cast of the serial had a great time while celebrating the occasion.

Anjana, who is quite a popular actress of Bengali entertainment industry, is playing a negative character in ‘Bijoyini’. Earlier, she was seen playing prominent roles in the popular daily soaps like ‘Probahini Ei Samay’, ‘Bhalobasa.com’, ‘Bidhir Bidhan’, ‘Bodhuboron’.
After ‘Bodhuboron’, which also had Gourab Chatterjee, Promita Chakrabartty and Suman Dey, she took a small break from the small screen and concentrated on movies. With the daily soap ‘Bijoyini’, she is now back to entertain the telly audience.
