Bharat Kaul to start shooting for Hindi serial from Wednesday

is scheduled to start in Kolkata from Wednesday. Senior television actor Bharat Kaul, who is playing an important character in the project, told us, “The storyline is based on the popular Bengali film

Deep Jele Jai

and I am playing the character of the father of the male protagonist.”

This is the second Hindi project Bharat is working on this year after the actor completed the work for Kaushik Ganguly’s Manohar Pandey in January. The lead actors in the film are Raghubir Yadav, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak Kapur and the music is composed by Jeet Gannguli. Bharat plays the character of an officer, who helps Raghubir Yadav in the time of need. The serial will be aired in June and besides Bharat, Patrali Chattopadhyay is also acting in the project.

In between, Bharat, who is a cancer survivor, tested positive for

COVID

, because of which he had to take a break from work. “My first dose of the vaccine is done, and I am completely fit now. I am working regularly,” added Bharat. Besides Rishton Ka Manjha, Bharat is also acting in two popular Bengali soaps -- Desher Mati and Sreemoyee.
