Bharat Kaul and wife Jayashree test positive for COVID-19

Senior actor Bharat Kaul and his wife Jayashree tested positive for Coronavirus. After identifying some mild symptoms of COVID-19, the celebrity couple decided to undergo the necessary test.
Both the actors are busy bees and have popular shows in their kitties. Bharat is playing a prominent role in ‘Sreemoyee’, which also stars Indrani Halder, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sudip Mukherjee, Ushasie Chakraborty. He is also a part of ‘Desher Maati’ and has other projects, too.
Jayashree, on the other hand, is essaying actor Ambarish Bhattacharya’s on-screen wife in the comedy-drama ‘Khorkuto’ which again has an ensemble cast. She is also a part of ‘Mohor’, starring Sona Moni Saha and Pratik Sen.
The news of Bharat and Jayashree testing positive has left the cast and crew of their shows worried. Recovery messages are pouring in for their speedy recovery. The increasing number of Coronavirus positive cases is reportedly raising questions regarding the maintenance of COVID-19 protocols on the shooting sets.
Recently, writer, producer and director Leena Gangopadhyay, who is busy handling ‘Mohor’, ‘Sreemoyee’, ‘Desher Maati’ as well as the creative aspects of the remakes of her Bengali shows, also tested positive for the virus. Actor Sean Banerjee also tested positive. Film actress Rituparna Sengupta, who recently featured in the Holi special episode of Mithun Chakraborty, Dev and Monami Ghosh starrer show ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 2’, had also tested positive.
