It is not unusual for Bengali television shows to come together to celebrate certain festivals now and then. The crossovers are not always occasional. More often than not, the creators of the shows merge the timeline of multiple shows and present a grand episode to the audience. ‘Saathi’ and ‘Akash Kusum’, two popular daily soaps on Bengali television, are following suit.
The two shows are set to treat the audience with a grand episode on May 20.
As per the story of the grand episode, Dali (from ‘Akash Kusum’) is walking away from Devburman family, on a secluded place suddenly some hooligans try to destroy Dali’s reputation. Raktim (from ‘Akash Kusum’) sees a dream that Dali is in danger. While Dali tries to save herself, Raktim goes on to search for her, ends up fighting with those hooligans. He alone cannot fight with four of them. Suddenly Evan (from ‘Saathi’) appears in the scene and helps him. Mekhla (from ‘Saathi’) saves Dali by driving her car towards a rowdy. Four of them fight together and save the day. Raktim invites Evan and Mekhla to his house. At first Dali doesn’t want to go there but Raktim requests her to wait till Aditi is cured. In Devburman house, celebrations are on for Raktim Devburman’s brother Rishov and Sekhar Mukherjee’s daughter Jhum’s marriage. At their reception party, Raktim and Evan are enchanted to see their respective spouses. Malabika doesn’t want Dali to stay anymore, so with the help of Sourav, she tries to maim Dali. Raktim and Evan arrive at the right time and are able to save her. As Shreya and Aditi notice a shadow moving, everyone understands that it is not an accident – it is intentional. Evan and Mekhla thank everyone in the end and leave the venue. Dali promises herself that she won’t leave the house until she exposes the perpetrator. Will she be able to unmask the culprit?
