Bengali TV actress Mishmee Das reportedly abused online, lodges complaint

Popular Bengali television actress Mishmee Das has been reportedly abused online. The actress has lodged an official complaint in the cyber cell of Kolkata Police in Lalbazar on November 2.

According to the police, the actress has allegedly received lewd messages from a particular email id. The actress complained that those sexually explicit messages were targeted to defame her.

Later, Mishmee opened up in an Instagram post, where she had shared her ordeal. She has also uploaded a copy of the official complaint lodged in the cyber cell. In her post, the actress has made it clear that such

harassment

should not be tolerated by anyone. And that’s why she decided to make an official complaint.

Her post reads, “It’s not okay to send lewd messages to anyone. We shouldn’t keep quiet. I will not keep quiet.” Mishmee has thanked her family and friends for their support.
