Bengali actress Ushasie Chakraborty turns a year older

Bengali actress Ushasie Chakraborty is celebrating her birthday today (February 17). The Bengali beauty, who went to Goa to enjoy a much-needed break ahead of her birthday, has been flooded with warm wishes.
Few days back, Ushasie reached Goa to enjoy a vacation. Enjoying local cuisine, spending time on the beautiful beach, and exploring new places have made her Goa trip special.
Ushasie, whose last show ‘Sreemoyee’ was a hit, enjoys huge fan following on social media. The actress stepped into the showbiz quite young and has been a part of several telefilms, shows, and movies. But ‘Sreemoyee’ brought her closer to the mass. Her reel character June Guha, popularly known as June aunty was an instant hit. Ushasie worked hard to get into the skin of June Guha, an independent lady with a devil may care attitude whose sole purpose in the show was to cause protagonist Sreemoyee sleepless nights. June’s facial expressions, dialogues, and tone of addressing her beloved ‘Masi’ became hugely popular among the audience and inspired many social media enthusiasts to create memes and posts. Bengali television hasn’t seen such popular vamps prior to this.
‘Sreemoyee’, which was remade in Hindi (as ‘Anupamaa’), Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi as well, recently concluded its journey. After the show’s end, Ushasie is taking a break. She has a few offers in her kitty and is looking forward to entertain the audience in a new avatar soon.
