Actress Sona Moni Saha turned a year older. She is celebrating her birthday today (April 5). The actress is celebrating her special day with loved ones. Her social media handle is flooded with warm birthday wishes. Sona Moni’s co-stars from TV show ‘Ekka Dokka’, has also extended wishes to her.
She is currently busy with her television show ‘Ekka Dokka’.She plays the female lead in the show which started its journey featuring Saptarshi Moulik as the male lead. She plays a doctor in the Leena Ganguly and Saibal Banerjee produced ‘Ekka Dokka’. The show recently welcomed actor Pratik Sen, her former co-star from ‘Mohor’.
On the career front, Sona Moni is quite successful. The model-turned-actress started her career with the period-drama ‘Debi Choudhurani’, which starred Rahul Mazumdar as the male protagonist. The show made Rahul and Sona Moni household names. After this, she bagged yet another television project, Mohor, which turned out to be again a hit. Pratik and Sona Moni’s reel chemistry worked in favour of the show, making it an instant hit. The success of the show prompted the makers to launch it in other languages.
