Bengali actress Roshni Bhattacharyya celebrates 29th birthday

Actress Roshni Bhattacharyya turned a year older yesterday. It was her 29th birthday and she had a rocking birthday party with hubby Turjya Sen, and friends. Celebrations started at midnight. Roshni’s hubby and close friends had planned a surprise party for the birthday girl. Wishes have been pouring in for Roshni. From her co-stars, industry peers, friends to fans; all have extended warm wishes.
It has been a memorable birthday for the actress who just turned 29. Roshni partied hard with friends and later spent the rest of the day with her family. She has been flooded with gifts from near and dear ones. She enjoyed multiple cake cutting and enjoyed every bit of her special day that was enriched with love and warmth of her loved ones. Good company, yummy food and outpouring wishes made Roshni’s birthday special.
Model and actress Roshni, whose first TV show was ‘Premer Kahini’, starring actor Indrasish Roy as the male lead, is a familiar face to the Bengali audience. She is currently busy with the shooting of an OTT project. Roshni bagged the upcoming web series ‘Matangi’. The project has been in the news for several reasons- first for its strong star cast and then the alleged issues between actresses Sohini Sarkar and Trina Saha. If rumours are to be believed, then Trina allegedly had some issues with Sohini which took a different turn and she (Trina) left the shooting floor. Sources also suggest, the team and Sohini tried to resolve the issue, but the attempt reportedly failed. Later, the makers roped in Roshni for the character Trina was supposed to play.
Roshni has been busy with the shooting of this multi-starrer series.
On the television front, her past two shows were quite popular. She played a negative role in Koushik Sen starrer ‘Godhuli Alap’. Her performance in Bengali TV’s one of the most popular projects, ‘Rani Rashmoni’ also fetched her accolades.
