She has been simultaneously shooting for ad commercials and other projects. Well, Roshni has bagged a meaty role in an upcoming project. She will soon be seen in romantic-comedy 'Shortaboli Projojyo' streaming on an
OTT
platform.
Roshni, who made her television debut with ‘
Premer Kahini
’, never stopped experimenting and essayed different characters in her career be it on television or OTT platforms. In the upcoming project, she will be seen in a completely new avatar. The shooting has already started and Roshni is currently juggling between her two projects.
On television, the actress is playing Jagadamba’s role in popular period-drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’ and managed to strike a chord with the audience. Roshni stepped into Jagadamba’s role after actress Sampurna Mondal left the show midway.
In ‘Rani Rashmoni’, Roshni is playing a much older role in the show. Actor Suman Dey is essaying her reel son in ‘period drama’. Prior to this, model-turned-actress Roshni played the lead role in ‘Aloy Bhuban Bhora’. The story revolved around an acid attack survivor. Roshni’s performance in this show was appreciated by the audience.
On the personal front, Roshni and her beau Turjo Sen had a registry wedding last month. The duo will soon have a traditional wedding.
