’ actress has bagged a new television project and is currently busy with its shoot. Madhurima, who also shot for Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming film along with bagging a few other movies, will soon be seen in a new TV show starring

Rano Joy Bishnu

as the male lead. Madhurima is looking forward to her new show. She will essay Rano Joy’s first wife in the upcoming television drama. The unit is currently shooting in North Bengal.

Shyamoupti Mudly

will be seen essaying the protagonist in this unnamed project.

This is the first time Rano Joy and Madhurima will be seen as a reel couple. Leena Gangopadhyay is writing the story of this soon-to-be-launched TV show. Ambarish Bhattacharya aka Khorkuto’s Potka will essay a pivotal part in this show.

Meanwhile, Rano Joy, his girlfriend Sohini Sarkar, Shyamoupti, Ambarish along with other teammates are busy with the outdoor shoot schedule. They are shooting amidst the lush beauty of North Bengal.

Prior to this, Madhurima has been a part of many TV shows including Pratik Sen and

Sona Moni Saha

starrer ‘Mohor’, recently concluded show ‘Sreemoyee’ and others. In both shows, Madhurima played negative characters. While in ‘Sreemoyee’, she played Saptarshi Moulik’s first wife Kia’s character; in ‘Mohor’, Madhurima played the main antagonist. Sources suggest the viewers will see her in a brand new avatar in the upcoming show.
