Bengali actress Anjana Basu tests positive for COVID

Bengali actress Anjana Basu has tested positive for COVID. She has fever and sore throat along with a few other symptoms. Anjana immediately isolated herself and underwent COVID test and the reports suggest, she has been tested positive for the virus.The actress is in home isolation.
Anjana has been busy with the shooting of two television serials. She is playing a rich and influential politician’s role in ‘Mon Mane Na’, starring Pallavi Dey and Samm Bhattacharya in lead roles. In the recently launched TV show ‘Pilu’, Anjana is playing a prominent role too. The senior actress stopped attending the shooting soon after she started having the symptoms.
In the meantime, the number of COVID cases has gone high in the Bengali entertainment industry. Several cast and crew members, technicians, and artists from different television shooting units have tested positive for COVID. Dhulokona actor Indrasish Roy and his wife Souravi have tested positive for the virus and are currently in home isolation. Actor Indranil Chatterjee, who is currently busy with the show ‘Aaye Tobe Sohochori’, is also unable to attend the shooting after testing positive for COVID.
On the other hand, ‘Dadagiri Unlimited Season 9’ host Sourav Ganguly has recovered from COVID and resumed shooting. Raj Chakraborty and Subhashree Ganguly’s latest COVID report came negative and the couple ended their isolation period too. Dev and his girlfriend Rukmini Maitra have also recovered.
