Basu Paribar gears up for World TV Premiere

Bengali TV channels are trying their best to entertain the audience, especially during lockdown. From rerunning cult shows like ‘Mahaprabhu’, ‘Ek Akasher Niche’, bringing back the nostalgia of ‘Ogo Bodhu Sundari’, ‘Dweep Jwele Jai’, to tickle the funny bones of the audience- TV channels are offering variety in terms of offerings. The channels are also airing hit films to chase the quarantine blues away.
To make the weekend special, film ‘Basu Paribar’ is gearing up for its World TV Premiere.A leading Bengali General Entertainment Channel is going to air Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Aparna Sen, Rituparna Sengupta, Jisshu U Sengupta starrer film ‘Basu Paribar’ this Sunday. The film is directed by Suman Ghosh. Featuring a stellar cast, the movie sets out on a soul searching journey. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of a happily wedded couple, other family members and relatives join them. Everything starts with adda, music and fun-galore but as the night gets darker, so does the mood of the party. The otherwise happy and perfect family members drop their mask one by one.
The film also stars actors Saswata Chatterjee Sreenanda Shankar, Sudipta Chakraborty, Paran Banerjee, Lily Chakravarty and Koushik Sen among others.
Along with the World Television Premiere of ‘Basu Paribar’, there will be other TV shows to spice up the entertainment quotient of the viewers. A special show will be aired by another TV channel featuring the actors from different shows like ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’, ‘Sreemoyee’, ‘Dhrubatara’, ‘Ke Apon Ke Por’ to celebrate ‘International Family Day’.
