‘Balijhor’ to narrate a love story set across a political backdrop

Get ready for some high-dose of entertainment in 2023. A number of promising shows including ‘Dance Bangla Dance Season 12’, starring none other than Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty, Indrani Halder hosted game show, ‘Super Singer Season 4’ featuring Shaan, Rupam Islam and Monali Thakur along with daily soaps ‘Meyebela’, featuring none other than Roopa Ganguly, ‘Mon Dite Chai’, ‘Phaguner Mohona’ and others are set to premiere soon.Adding one more to the list, Leena Ganguly’s upcoming project ‘Balijhor’ is also in the pipeline.
While the promo has just been released, the TV show was in the news for quite some time for its interesting line-up. Rumours were rife that Leena roped in Trina Saha, Koushik Roy, and Indrasish Roy for her next project. Making the rumours true, Leena is ready with her new TV outing which will be a lovestory knit in the backdrop of a political environment. According to the story, the female protagonist grew up in a political environment since her dad is a politician. Koushik will be seen essaying a character who works as the assistant of the politician. The father of the female protagonist wants his daughter to get married to his assistant, who has a bright future in the field of politics as well. Though her dad wants to pass on his political baton to her, she isn’t even remotely interested in that field and rather loves a guy and wants to have a happy life with him. Indrasish will be seen as Trina’s love interest in ‘Balijhor’.
