Annwesha Hazra-Amrita Debnath starrer ‘Sandhyatara’ to launch soon

Get ready for some high dose of entertainment ahead, as all leading Bengali channels are at loggerheads to woo the audience with their new launches. Already two different channels are ready with new offerings ‘Phulki’ and ‘Biyer Phool’. While the first one will feature Bengali TV’s one of popular actors, Abhishek Bose as the male lead opposite Divyani Mondal, ‘Biyer Phool’ is a multi-starrer project, featuring Nabanita Das, Raja Biswas as the lead, alongside senior artist Dulal Lahiri, and Shoumo Banerjee, Sougata Banerjee in supporting roles.Meanwhile, yet another leading TV channel is gearing up with its new TV drama ‘Tunte’, which again will bring two popular faces of Bengali TV- Syed Arefin and Dipanwita Rakshit. Making the list of new shows more colourful, there is a new addition too. Pretty soon, the channel that airs ‘Gaatchora’, ‘Anuraager Chhowa’, and is gearing up to launch ‘Tunte’, will air ‘Sandhyatara’. It’s an upcoming show which will narrate a triangular love story, featuring Annwesha Hazra and Amrita Debnath as sisters. Sourajit Banerjee, who is a new face to the audience, will play the male lead in the show.
We had already reported about Annwesha and Amrita teaming up for a show, which will feature a fresh face as the male lead. Now the channel has finally announced the project. According to the story, the female protagonists have different personalities but they are inseparable. They can make any sacrifices to make the other person happy. Following the formula, a handsome guy makes an entry into their lives. Both the girls fall for the same man and they are ready to make sacrifices too. Who takes the ‘dulha’ home, and who makes the sacrifice, form the major crux of the story.
Annwesha will play a village belle. The actress has a number of popular shows to her credit including ‘Amader Ei Poth Jodi Na Shesh Hoy’, ‘Chuni Panna’, ‘Amar Thikana Tai Briddhashram’. Amrita, on the other hand, was last seen in ‘Mon Phagun’.
