Ankita Majumder Paul bags yet another show

Actress Ankita Banerjee is a true busy bee. She has been simultaneously shooting for TV shows ‘Ranga Bou’ and ‘Gouri Elo’, and now, the actress has yet another project in her kitty. The Bengali beauty will play a prominent role in the upcoming TV drama ‘Biyer Phool’.
Currently, viewers can see Ankita playing two different roles in her on-going shows.In ‘Gouri Elo’, she plays Anandi’s character. According to the storyline, Anandi is a self-dependent modern woman who quit her job to take care of her family. Although she misses being a career-oriented individual, Anandi is happy in her life. She is a helpful and kind woman. Ankita’s reel character in ‘Ranga Bou’ is completely opposite. She plays Kumkum, a lady with devil may care attitude and doesn’t like protagonist Pakhi (played by Shruti Das). Kumkum’s character has negative shades and her appearance definitely spices up the drama quotient. But ‘Biyer Phool’, will star her in a different avatar. The actress will play a simple housewife in the show and the character has no similarity with the roles she plays in other two daily soaps.
The actress, who rose to prominence with the success of daily soap ‘Jorowar Jhumko’, is currently busy shooting for her shows. She is also a mommy in real-life and has been successfully striking a fine balance between her work commitments and personal life.
Ankita’s on-going shows are quite popular and scores pretty well on the TRP charts too. While ‘Gouri Elo’ is among the top three shows on Bengali small screen, Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Shruti starrer ‘Ranga Bou’ can also be spotted in the top 5 club. Meanwhile, viewers are looking forward to ‘Biyer Phool’, which is a comedy drama. The show has been in the news for its star cast which includes artists Dulal Lahiri, Nabanita Das, Raja Goswami, Souvik Banerjee, Ekta Ganguly, Manoj Ojha, Ankita, Shoumo Banerjee, Sougata Banerjee and others.
