Anish Roy wins the title of ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 2’

The wait is over. After giving other contestants a fierce competition, Anish Roy, from Jaynagar, South 24 Pargana, has won the trophy of ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 2’. Madhumita Roy was declared second while Soumyajit Pal bagged the third spot. Besides the winner’s trophy, Anish was awarded with prize money of worth Rs. 3lac and additional award money of worth Rs.2.5lac . Madhumita, on the other hand, also bagged the title of 'Popular Choice Winner'.
The season finale witnessed a starry night, in the gracious presence of none other than veteran actress Helen. She mesmerised everyone with her energy and grace. Besides her, choreographer Remo D’Souza and actress Sunny Leone were the other two special guests on finale night. The special guests made the evening more entertaining. They all joined judges Dev, Monami Ghosh and Mahaguru Mithun Chakraborty on the stage and performed dhunuchi naach.
Remo rocked the stage with his signature moves, while Sunny also danced to the groovy tunes of some peppy numbers.
Judges Dev and Monami set the stage on fire with their dance number as well.
The contestants Anish, Sreeja-Promit, Madhumita Roy, Soumyajit Pal, Sudam Barman, Ro Ro brothers Rohit and Roshan Patra, Adwitiya Roy and Piyush Talukdar reached the finale. With hardwork and sheer talent, they cemented their place in the competition.
Dance Dance Junior Season 2’s semi-finale was also a starry affair. Actress Urmila Matondkar graced the show once again as the special guest. She appeared on the show a few months back too. This season welcomed a number of Bollywood stars besides Urmila. Anil Kapoor, Raveena Tandon also featured in this reality show as the special guests.
