Anindita Ray Choudhury undergoes knee surgery to remove a piece of glass stuck inside

Popular actress Anindita Roy Chowdhury, who has been a part of TV shows like ‘Bhutu’, ‘Dhulokona’, recently underwent a knee surgery. She was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata where the surgery was performed. For the past few weeks, Anindita was suffering from pain in her right leg, especially in the knee. She initially ignored it but when the pain was consistent and unbearable, Anindita consulted a doctor.
The X-ray report showed a small piece of glass was stuck inside her leg causing the stiff pain.Anindita and hubby Sudip Sarkar were shocked to learn that the piece of small glass is likely to be inside her leg for at least 4 months. She was advised to undergo immediate surgery. Finally, on Thursday, the surgery to remove the piece of glass, was performed. For now, the actress has been advised to take complete rest.
The actress will have to take a break from the shooting until recovery. She is on wheel chair and has been asked by the doctors to take rest for at least 15 days.
Meanwhile the actress is flooded with messages from Tolly peers and fans enquiring about her health. Anindita’s co-stars from TV show ‘Ekka Dokka’, have extended wishes for her speedy recovery. Besides them, Subhashree Ganguly, Mimi Chakraborty, Manali Manisha Dey and many other artists have also expressed their concern and wished her a speedy recovery.
