Angana Roy bids goodbye to ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’, beau Rohaan shares an adorable farewell post

Angana Roy is drawing the curtains to an important chapter of her life. The actress has bid goodbye to the popular Bengali television show ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ where she played the character of one of the protagonists. Angana decided to move on from the Bengali daily on medical grounds. The actress informed that she had been unwell for a while and the doctors have advised her to rest for at least two weeks before signing up for further treatment.Angana recently took to Instagram to share gratitude to her fans for showering love on her on-screen character Parbati. The actress posted a photo of herself as Parbati with a short and sweet note, “Thank you for all the love and warmth. Signing off, Parvati/Paro. This one will always be special.”

Rohaan Bhattacharjee, Angana’s beau and her co-star on ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’, took to social media to send Angana a sweet send-off as she moves on from the show. Rohaan shared a couple of photos of him and Angana, and wrote, “Me & my pain killer. Get well soon tigress”

Angana Roy began her journey on Bengali television with ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ in October 2023. The actress was seen essaying the character of Parbati in the mega serial. She was cast opposite Rohaan Bhattacharjee on the show. Nabanita Das is also part of the show and she is seen portraying the role of Paro. Apart from working on a Bengali daily, Angana Roy has been a part of ‘Pariah: Vol 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name’. In the Tathagata Mukherjee directorial, Angana shared the screen with Vikram Chatterjee. Tathagata announced ‘Pariah: Vol 2: Rise of Kalbhairav’ a month back and confirmed Angana to be a part of the film.

On the romantic front, Angana has been linked with her ‘Tumi Ashe Pashe Thakle’ co-star Rohaan. The duo, who had been friends from before, is reported to have grown closer to each other over the course of working together on the TV show. Angana and Rohaan have been packing their social media feed with their adorable PDA as well. The couple walked the red carpet of an award show together earlier this year. They matched their outfits and posed for the shutterbugs happily.
