Anamika to head to Gokarna for a vacation

In April actress Anamika Chakraborty is planning a trip to Bangalore for a short vacation with her friends. From there, she plans to visit Gokarna. Besides, she is also eagerly waiting for her debut film Ishkabon to release. Speaking to us about her holiday destination, Anamika said, “I used to work there for more than one and a half years as a community manager for a company and during that time, I made friends for life,” she said.
Though Anamika has been acting since 2014, she took a break from her acting career in 2019 and went to Bangalore. “It was fun there. I would live my life the way I wanted to and things were very different. I worked there till I received the offer for Ekhane Akash Neel,” the actress said, adding that she was sceptical about the offer in the beginning. “Returning to television meant investing a lot of time and I was not sure at that point if I wanted to do it. But I did it and the rest is history,” she said.
Meanwhile, talking about Ishkabon, she said “The story is about revolution and how the journey as a Naxal activist changes my character’s life. I am excited not just because I am playing the lead but also because it is a very different story”.
