Veteran actress
Anamika Saha is critically ill. A few days ago, she tested positive for COVID-19 and shifted to a hospital after her oxygen level critically dropped. Though she was initially stable, her condition deteriorated, hospital sources suggest. She is on oxygen support.
Wishes for her speedy recovery have been pouring in.
Anamika, who has been a part of several films, was shooting for ‘Hoyto Tomari Jonno’, starring Jeetu Kamal and
Sampurnaa Mandal.
A number of artists from the same show have reportedly tested positive. Her co-star Krishnakishor Mukherjee is in hospital too. He is under strict medical surveillance after complaining about breathing issues.
Chaiti Ghoshal, yet another actress from the same show has also tested positive for coronavirus. She is in home quarantine and stable.

Soon after Chaiti tested positive for the virus, Jeetu and his wife Nabanita Das isolated themselves. They underwent necessary tests. However, the couple tested positive. Both Jeetu and Nabanita have joined shooting after the test result came.
The growing number of fresh COVID-19 cases in the entertainment industry, especially from the same shooting floor have become a serious concern. Actors
