Since several months, ‘Rani Rashmoni’ has managed its place in the second spot on the TRP charts giving all other ‘Saas Bahu’ sagas a stiff competition.
Now the show is gearing up for a few years of leap and new actors will join the cast. According to sources, actress
Alokananda Guha
will soon be seen making an entry in the show. She will be seen playing the role of Ashalata, wife if Rashmoni’s grandson.
Interestingly, she was seen playing the role of Bishnupriya in ‘Mahaprabhu Sree Chaitanya’. She was recently replaced by actress Shreema Bhattacharjee.
Alokananda is elated to join the cast of ‘Rani Rashmoni’. The actress is a popular face of the small screen. She has done a number of daily soaps including ‘Prothom Protishruti’, ‘Bamakhyapa’ and ‘Byomkesh’ other than a few films.
Along with Alokananda, actor Sayak Chakraborty is also going to feature in this popular show. The actor will play the role of Mahendra. The existing cast includes
Gourab Chatterjee, Sampurna Mondal, Diganta Bagchi, Diya Chakraborty among others.
