Adrit Roy and Darshana Banik pair up for ‘Lockdown Diary’

TV series ‘Lockdown Diary’ is entertaining the audience with its new stories every week. This week’s story is ‘Bibahobarshiki’. Model-actress Darshana Banik is playing the female lead while actor Adrit Roy is paired opposite her.

‘Bibahobarshiki’ narrates the story of a young couple, who is facing marital issues recently. They are on the verge of getting separated as misunderstandings grow. How they work on their relationship and realise the worth of staying together makes the crux of the story. Darshana and Adrit look good as on-screen pair.

Film actor Adrit made his debut on the silver screen with Abhimanyu Mukherjee-directed movie ‘Noor Jahan’ starring Puja Cherry opposite him. He has also featured in a number of films that released in 2019, starting from ‘Prem Amar 2’, ‘Password’ to ‘Parineeta’.

Darshana, on the other hand, stepped into the showbiz world as a model. She has been a part of many ad campaigns. Darshana has Bengali, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu movies to her credit.

Last week, ‘Lockdown Diary’, aired the romantic-comedy ‘Bor Asbe Ekkhuni’. It narrated the love story of a South Indian guy and a Bengali girl. Film actor Om Sahani played the male lead while Trina Saha played the female lead in the story.
