Adrija Addy Roy on meeting Pankaj Tripathi: Watching the performance of your favourite actor is surreal; he is immensely talented yet very humble

Bengali actress Adrija Addy Roy recently enjoyed a fan-moment with none other than Pankaj Tripathi. She was shooting for her daily soap ‘Mou Er Bari’ and learned that director Srijit Mukherji will shoot a sequence starring Pankaj Tripathi at the same studio.
Speaking about the same, Adrija adds, “It’s a dream come true moment for me. I met Pankaj sir three days back. I was almost done for the day when I learned that Srijit da is shooting for a sequence featuring Pankaj Tripathi.I was really excited to watch his performance LIVE and couldn’t stop myself from seeking permission from Srijit Da. He happily allowed me.” After the pack-up of her shoot, Adrija went to the floor where Srijit and his team were shooting.
“The experience of watching the performance of your favourite actor is surreal. It's different from watching someone on-screen. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Panjak sir performing. He is immensely talented and a very down-to-earth person. After the pack-up, the team was busy clicking group photos and I approached him for a picture, too. He readily agreed and to my surprise, he even posed for more than one photo,” says Adrija.
Being a fan of Pankaj and his acting brilliance, Adrija spoke about her admiration.
Pankaj has been busy with the hectic shoot schedule of his upcoming movie. After finishing the shoot schedule amid the picturesque locations of North Bengal, the team came back to Kolkata for shooting.
