Actress Sudipta Banerjee bags a new project

Actress Sudipta Banerjee, who has been a part of television shows like ‘Saat Bhai Champa’, ‘Sohag Jol’, ‘Nojor and others, has bagged yet another meaty project. The actress will be a part of the television show ‘Shyama’, which will feature her, alongside Honey Bafna and Tumpa Ghosh. This is her third show with Honey.

Actress Sudipta Banerjee has bagged yet another project. Last seen in television show ‘Sohag Jol’, the actress has now bagged yet another show, which will launch soon on a popular television channel. Interestingly, the new show will also feature one of her former co-stars too. Sudipta has been roped in by the makers to play a prominent role in ‘Shyama’, which will feature actor Honey Bafna as the male lead while actress Tumpa Ghosh is paired opposite him as the female lead.
This will be the third time, Sudipta and Honey working together in a project. Besides, ‘Sohag Jol’, they also shared the screen in ‘Gramer Rani Binapani’.
Shyama’s story will follow protagonists Joy and Aritri. According to the story, Joy belongs to a rich and influential family that is headed by grandfather Bakul Banerjee, a renowned astrologer. Joy falls in love with Aritri, who is the daughter of a priest and the duo gets married. Sudipta’s character will play a vital role in Joy-Aritra’s journey, since the girl she would be playing is head-over-heels in love with the male protagonist. Interestingly, Sudipta played a similar role in ‘Sohag Jol’ too and managed to impress the audience by playing the character convincingly.
Meanwhile, Sudipta is having a busy schedule balancing her modeling assignments, upcoming show and personal life. She got married to beau Soumya Bakshi recently and is thoroughly enjoying the new chapter of her life as Mrs. Bakshi. She has been a part of many popular television serials so far including ‘Saat Bhai Champa’, ‘Nojor’, ‘Singhalogna’, ‘Gramer Rani Bina Pani’ and others.
‘Shyama’, which will soon launch, has an ensemble star cast that includes senior artists Biswajit Chakraborty, Anuradha Roy, Bodhisatya Majumdar, Mousumi Saha, Bharat Kaul and others.
