Subhashree Ganguly, who will soon be seen as the judge of ‘
Dance Bangla Dance’, is deeply saddened by the situation of West Bengal after super cyclone Amphan left its trail. The super cyclone that hit last week ravaged different parts of Bengal causing lives and property damages. Different parts of the state including Kolkata was waterlogged and people had to suffer power outages and lack of water supply.
Though electricity and other basic amenities are back in many parts of the city on Monday, life is yet to return to normalcy in different parts of the state. Common people to celebrities have come forward to help people in need. Subhashree, who is expecting her first baby, took to her social media handle to state how the entire picture has left her shattered. In the video, the actress read a piece written by herself. The emotional note ‘Tor Jonno’ is an open letter to her soon-to-be-born baby.
The actress expressed how she is unable to control her tears seeing the devastation all around. She also expressed how she, as a mother, can possibly explain the sad situation to her baby, who is yet to see the light of the world that is still struggling.
Subhashree has also urged everyone to come forward and join hands to help each other during this crisis.
