Actress Sonali Chakraborty admitted to hospital

Senior Bengali artist Sonali Chakraborty is critically unwell and has been admitted to the hospital. On Friday, she fell critically unwell and was rushed to the hospital. According to sources, she is under strict medical observation but in a stable condition.
Sonali has not been keeping well for quite some time and was admitted to the hospital earlier as well.After recovery, she recently resumed work. The senior artist is currently a part of Bengali television serial ‘Gaatchora’, that stars Solanki Roy and Gourab Chatterjee as the lead pair. Sonali plays a meaty role in the popular daily soap.
The senior artist is married to actor Shankar Chakraborty. Shankar and Sonali's daughter is currently in the city to pay a visit to the actress who has not been keeping well. Their only daughter works in Mumbai as an assistant director.
Both Sonali and Shankar Chakraborty are very popular faces for Bengali audience. They have been a part of many Bengali Television shows, Telefilms and movies. Shankar and Sonali, as a reel pair, enjoyed immense popularity as well. They co-hosted non-fiction shows too. While Shankar can be spotted in different television serials, Sonali has been giving the small screen a miss for quite some time. Because of health issues, she chose to stay away from the shooting sets. She made a comeback on television with the multi-starrer TV show 'Gaatchora'.
