Teachers’ Day bears a special meaning to everyone. And popular television actress Shreema Bhattacharjee is not an exception. The day means a lot to her in different ways.
She said, “My parents have taught me how to be a good human being. I am here because of them. They are my first teachers.” She went emotional while talking about her parents.
Shreema is still in college.
She shared that she has already wished her teachers on this day. Shreema said, “I have wished my teachers from school and college. I have also wished the teachers from whom I have learned music, dance, and recitation. I have also wished the director of my first serial. I am really grateful to each of them. They gave me the confidence to face everything.”
Interestingly, Shreema took this opportunity to wish her friends too. She said, “There are friends, who have taught me a lot of things. Whenever I face any problem I seek their suggestions. So, today I have wished them too.”
But the word ‘teacher’ also brings a lot of other meanings to her. The actress, who played the lead character in the family drama ‘Jamai Raja’, feels that we learn from everyone we meet in our life.
She said, “We meet so many people every day and each of them teaches us something or the other. These lessons are very important, even if we don’t know them. Suppose, during my travel someone gets up and offers me a seat. I can learn that I should do the same. In fact, we can learn so many things from that kind gesture. Isn’t that beautiful!”
