The very first promo of the show caught the attention of the audience. The storyline revolved around Nandini, who lost her husband at a young age. She marries her college senior for the sake of her little daughter.

While Rahul made his debut with television and went on to doing films, Sandipta stepped into the showbiz as an actress with ‘Durga’. From the storyline to the lead pair, ‘Tumi Asbe Bole’ had many refreshing elements in it.
