Actress Sampurnaa Mandal misses playing 'Durga'

TV actress Sampurnaa Mandal is missing her shoots, especially playing her character Durga aka Dugga. The shooting has been on halt since March 18. All the artists, technicians and others associated with the entertainment are missing the regular work schedule and Sampurnaa is certainly one of them. The actress, who is a school student in real life, has adapted to the busy shoot schedule.She has been successfully managing her work and studies. But the recent situation amid lockdown due to COVID-19 outbreak has brought many changes and shoots are yet to resume though the State Government has granted conditional permission.
She is playing the titular role in ‘Durga Durgeshwari’, which stars actor Biswarup Bandyopadhyay opposite her. She worked hard to get under the skin of Durga, which is different from her previous on-screen character Jagadamba in ‘Rani Rashmoni’. The actress left the audience mesmerised with her performance in the period drama starring Ditipriya Roy as Rani Rashmoni.
Despite being young, she played the character with complete ease. Her chemistry with actor Gourab Chatterjee, who is playing Mathuramohan in the show, was loved by the audience. She bagged the titular role in ‘Durga Durgeshwari’ while working in ‘Rani Rashmoni’ which she left later. Actress Roshni Bhattachayya is playing the character Jagadamba now.
Sampurnaa stepped into showbiz at a young age. Thanks to her power-packed performance, she is already considered as one of the most talented kids on the block.
