Actress Sairity Banerjee makes a comeback after maternity break

Model and actress Sairity Banerjee is back to the small screen after more than a year’s gap. The pretty actress has joined the cast of ‘Desher Maati’. In the TV show, that has an ensemble cast, Sairity is playing the role of a modern girl named Neelpakhi who pursued her higher education abroad. Senior actor Shankar Chakraborty will play her reel father in the show written by Leena Gangopadhyay.
The actress is quite excited to be back after her maternity break. Sairity was last seen in the super-natural drama ‘Nishir Daak’ in which she essayed Nishi’s role. She left the show midway due to her pregnancy. Actress Geet Roy was roped in as her replacement last year.
Last year in June, Sairity was blessed with a beautiful baby girl. The actress was busy taking care of her bundle of joy. She has been waiting for a meaty role for her comeback project.
‘Desher Maati’, which was launched a few months back, has a strong star cast. It features Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Payel De, Rooqma Ray, Dibyojyoti Dutta, Shruti Das, Anashua Majumder, Shankar Chakraborty, Tathagata Mukherjee and many others.
Speaking about Sarity’s career, her debut television show was ‘Thik Jeno Love Story’. Actor Neel Bhattacharya, who is currently playing the male lead in ‘Krishnakoli’, was paired opposite Sairity in the romantic-drama. Comedy-drama ‘Baksho Bodol’ was yet another show in which, Sairity had played the lead role
