Bengali actress Roshni Bhattacharyya, currently playing an advocate in Raj Chakraborty-produced TV show ‘Godhuli Alap’ is a busy bee. She has some meaty projects in her kitty which include ad commercials and a much-awaited movie starring Radhika Apte. The actress will be a part of ‘Mrs. Undercover’, features a number of popular artists from Tollywood including Rajesh Sharma, Laboni Sarkar, Saheb Chatterjee, and Angana Roy besides Radhika. Viewers will see Roshni in a completely new avatar in the upcoming project.
The actress has been striking a fine balance among her projects, be it on television, OTT or other commitments.
On the small screen front, she is playing a negative character in Koushik Sen and Somu Sarkar starrer ‘Godhuli Alap’. This is the first time Roshni is playing a negative character. Prior to this, she essayed Jagadamba’s role in Bengali TV’s one of the popular shows, ‘Rani Rashmoni’. Roshni, who played a kind-hearted, responsible and courageous woman in the period drama, left fans surprised by her very next show where she plays a crooked antagonist. This is the first time, Roshni is essaying a negative role and has managed to woo the audience with her performance in ‘Godhuli Alap’. Her portrayal of a girl who survives an acid attack and continues her journey despite facing hurdles in life in the TV drama ‘Aloy Bhuban Bhora’ also caught the attention of the audience too. Roshni has forayed into the OTT platform as well.
