Actress Manali Manisha Dey turns a year older

Popular actress Manali Manisha Dey is celebrating her birthday today (May 6). Seeing the situation amid the pandemic, the actress has decided to drop her birthday celebration plans, but hubby Abhimanyu Mukherjee, in-laws and friends from the industry, are leaving no stone unturned to make the occasion extra special for the birthday girl.
Manali and Abhimanyu got married last year in August.This is her first birthday after marriage and Abhimanyu tried to make it memorable for her.
The actress is flooded with birthday wishes. Swastika Dutta, Ushasi Ray, Shreema Bhattacherjee have wished Manali. Singers Iman Chakraborty and Shovan Ganguly have wished her too.
On the career front, the actress is likely to be seen in an upcoming TV show playing the lead. Industry sources suggest, Leena Ganguly is writing the story of her new show. The shooting of the upcoming show is yet to start.
Manali, who has been a part of several movies, was last seen in the television serial ‘Nakshi Kantha’. The show starred actor Suman Dey opposite her. Manali played a meritorious student who becomes a doctor against the will of her conservative family. Manali as Shabnam was quite convincing and the actress earned praises for her performance in the show. Suman and Manali’s on-screen chemistry was the USP of the show.
